Understanding what lies underneath the surface can help you improve yourself and discover new solutions to your problems. Together, we can gain insights and get to the bottom of whatever you are struggling with.
How Often Is Therapy?
Typically, I see patients once a week for at least the first three months. Once we build up a rapport, we can adjust the timeframe to meet your needs. Therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on the complexity of what we are working on. Most importantly, we will move at your pace and take whatever time you need. I will always check in to make sure that you feel safe and in control of your own treatment.
How Will I Help You Feel Safe?
The key component to the therapeutic process is to develop a place where you feel safe and secure. Only then can you allow yourself to feel vulnerable and explore the sensitive parts of your psyche. In my office, I have created an environment that prioritizes your comfort. You can sit wherever you feel most secure, and the chairs move and swivel for when you need to turn away or take a moment to yourself.
